Yael stone, who is a New York City-based Australian resident, played Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael holds a master's degree from NIDA. Yael has been fortunate to be able from an early age to work with some of Australia's top storytellers and performers and pioneers within the TV, film and theatre industry. Yael is a renowned actor with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the play had an enormous achievement. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery.
