Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the United States. She made her debut in 1983 on screen in Bad Boys. Later she was part of the Bratpack and was also a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor, for her performance in the role of Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12 1992. David Lansbury was the father of Edgar Lansbury's first producer of Godspell and also the nephew of the actress Angela Lansbury. Beckett Lansbury was born in 1994. Sheedy said she has learnt a lot from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy was born in June 1962. She is an American actor as well as a writer. Her most notable roles are in Brat Pack's films The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club: What does it mean? The film's title, "The Breakfast Club", is a play on the school's nickname for detention. It is likely that students are expected to arrive at detention in the early morning around breakfast. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy is now an educator. She taught acting at City College, New York City.
