Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox was able to survive on the stipend of a student working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. She left the band before her band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. She was the voice in The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva and it was released around 1992. Commercially and critically the album was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues soul tracks from her early childhood. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were that were improvised. The E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while members of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in 1992. This was the source of several hit songs, including Walking in Broken Glass.
